Powder Coating

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a process used to coat different metals and provide various finishes using a free-flowing powder, which is stored in an airconditioned temperature-controlled environment. The powder is electrostatically charged at 100,000 volts when passed through the application gun and covers the surface of the metal. It is the baked or cured in an oven at up to 200 degrees Celsius.

When done correctly, powder coating is far more durable and long lasting than wet liquid paint. It provides stronger protection without chipping, cracking or fading and is corrosion and rust resistant. Not only will your project continue to look great for years to come, but powder coating is also more environmentally friendly than other traditional liquid paints.
