Pre Treatment

Our multi-stage pre-treatment system, which conforms with Australian standards AS3715 and AS4506, is used to pre-treat aluminium prior to powder coating. The pre-treatment converts the surface of the aluminium to a non-corrosive form, which changes the colour of the metal from silver to gold. The items are then thoroughly rinsed in deionised water and dried.

The advanced pre-treatment process not only provides corrosion protection, but also creates a chemical bond between the metal and powder when it is baked.
