Pre Treatment

Our multi-stage pre-treatment system – which conforms with Australian standards AS3715 and AS4506 – is used to pre treat aluminum prior to powder coating. The pre-treatment converts the surface of the aluminum to a non-corrosive form which results in the colour of the metal changing from silver to gold. The items are then thoroughly rinsed off in deionized water and dried.

The advanced pre-treatment process not only provides corrosion protection, but also creates a chemical bond between the metal and powder when it is baked.
